About us

We met for the first time in 2009 at a dance studio. Yasemin, with a love for contemporary styles and Jackie, with a love for jazz dance and show-biz; the yin-and-yang dynamics of our relationship were there from the start. We completed our professional dancers education at the Ballet Academy in Stockholm together and then went on separate paths.
For the past ten years we’ve both worked full time with dance in different milieus: through choreographing, teaching and performing nationally and internationally on big stages, in musicals and collaborations. Separately but simultaneously, our paths led us to the yoga practice as a complementary training to keep our bodies resilient and injury-free, as well as a self-regulating tool to handle stressful work environments. We quickly realized that yoga was the perfect combination of art and science, and we were sold on its power.
With our past experiences as dancers and having gained extensive knowledge about the body, the yoga practice brought on another layer of curiosity: for movement science, for nervous system regulation, for the instrument of the mind, for the breath effect and for spiritual essence. Both with a passion to share a modern approach to this timeless tradition of self-knowledge, we went on to do our yoga teacher trainings, in Stockholm and in Bali, and then later furthering our studies by continuing advanced trainings.
During a coffee date in 2021, discussing our strong belief in the science behind yoga, as well as the more subtle aspects, we both revealed that we had a dream of opening a studio where we could share, guide and empower. We had a common vision of creating a playful space where everyone would feel invited to explore the practice of yoga and to reap the health and wellness benefits it brings. And with a lot of love and authenticity, here you have the result…
